I started making posters 11 years ago. It turned out to be a pretty great way to hone my skills, try new stuff and get my work out there.
These days the work has gotten a bit more painterly, like this one on the left. It’s been a while since I used ink, but I still rely on repeating colors, line work and vector graphics for many posters.
I love composing scenes within a poster’s borders, with plenty of lovingly rendered hand lettering, all drawn by a guy who loves music.
Endless thanks to all the musicians, promoters and showrunners who enabled all these things to exist.
